What Is A Subscriber List?
Today I would like to focus on the importance of building your own list of subscribers, regardless of the niche you are working in. List building techniques work with any niche at all and they are or should be a fundamental part of your business.
When you begin to create your first online business, whether it be a sales page or a blog, you have to pay critical attention to building your list of subscribers from your target market if you want to make sales. In fact you can find that advice all over the Internet for good reason: List building is your major marketing activity after you put your website online. So, let’s look at a subscriber list, your subscriber list, with critical eyes.
Before you read a few reports and jump into building a list without any expertise in the process, you just have to consider the quality of your list. You also have to know everything you can find out about your target market. Only when you know who your market is and what they need for information or solutions, will you be able to provide the products they want to buy.
In order to be profitable for you, you have to have a quality subscriber list. What that means is that your subscribers have to be loyal to you and truly interested in your products. You can build that loyalty by NOT marketing to them every day, to begin with. Send them free downloads or important information that will make their business tasks easier once in a while and without a sales pitch.
Spread your marketing emails out and do not bury your list with emails every day or several every day. Make your subscribers feel like they are an important part of your business. Ask them what they need or want to help them build a successful business. Answer their questions promptly. Loyalty comes from the quality of the relationship you build with your customers.
What you need is a loyal list of subscribers who are happy with you and want your products. The secret here is that your list does not have to be huge to be productive. A small list of dedicated customers willing to pay for your information is a lot better than a huge list of disinterested subscribers.
When you set up your blog or website, have a noticeable sign-up box (opt-in) prominently displayed near the top of your page or at least “above the fold.” Make it easy to become a subscriber to your list and a potential buying customer. Offer a valuable incentive for registering or signing up to your list, like a short report solving a few common problems related to your niche.
Back to the question in the title: “What Is A Subscriber List?” It is the basic foundation for your business success. If you do not have subscribers willing to receive your emails, you will not be able to market to them. If you do not take the time to learn who your market is and what they want from your products, you just won’t make any sales.
However, building a list may seem like a very daunting task to beginners of internet marketing, but it really is very easy when you know how, so I would like to recommend that you check out a course called List Profits Formula, it was written to help anyone who needs to build a large list of subscribers quickly. To get more details take a look at Morgan’s review of List Profits Formula in the video below.
Again, “What Is A Subscriber List?” It is the most valuable and potentially lucrative tool you can have in your business, regardless of the niche you’ve chosen. What’s your answer to that question?

I really like your list building course. I think list building is one of the hardest thing about online marketing because it requires so much time and trial and error. I think you shorten my learning curve.
For those people out there wanting to learn how to build a list of your liking then I recommend this

Hi Sue,
Although I totally agree about the importance of list building you also have to have an autoresponder sequence of emails that are targeted to creating sales form those leads. I can attract sign ups all day, but selling to them is another matter. Good post, thanks.
Enjoy the journey.
